Who we are
Oxfam has been involved in Afghanistan since 1962, with an in country presence since 1990. Oxfam initially started by supporting partners and from 1990 directly provided emergency relief and development work including WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), agriculture, livelihoods, governance and gender, and has played a key role in advocacy. Oxfam is a leading aid, development, and campaigning charity with a worldwide reputation for excellence and over 60 years of experience.
